« back to classes page
ClassGraphic If you have ever wanted to tackle a masonry project yourself, but lack the confidence, this course is a game-changer. Absolutely no experience necessary. Fundamental skills training in masonry construction through classroom and labs with hands-on experience using real-world materials. Learn how to mix mortar, lay brick, block and stone, and perform masonry repairs. Each session is a standalone with no prerequisites, however, each builds on the previous session. Students are required to bring their own safety glasses, work gloves, and hand tools (trowel, brick hammer, and 2- or 4-foot level). Instructor will cover tool specifications in the first session.

Session is fully de-voted to lab. Builds on previous, sessions with detailed discussion about specific projects of interest to the students. Guided practice on individual masonry projects of the learner’s choice and interest.

$15.00 materials fee collected on the first day of class.
