NCCER's comprehensive Electrical curriculum complies with Department of Labor (DOL) time-based standards for apprenticeships and helps you prepare for a career as a professional electrician. Through this four-level program, you will develop an understanding of electrical systems in structures, learn how to follow blueprints, and install wiring and other electrical components, such as circuit breaker panels, switches and light fixtures.
 
This second-level NCCER Electrical course expands knowledge and skill in Alternating Current, Motors: Theory and Application, Electric Lighting, Conduit Bending, Pull and Junction Boxes, Conductor Installations, Cable Tray, Conductor Terminations and Splices, Grounding and Bonding, Circuit Breakers and Fuses, Control Systems and Fundamental Concepts. Prerequisite: Electrical Level 1.
