Learn Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) spray transfer mode and advance yourself with the necessary skills to be a successful career welder. Built according to local welding industry demands with a focus on fabrication/welding shop conditions, the Professional Welder GMAW program provides a well-rounded experience to help you get to work quickly!
GMAW spray arc transfer utilizes high argon concentrations to provide very high deposition rates and low-spatter, which is ideal for demands of many fabrication processes.
This training starts with foundational essentials in Safety, General Shop Knowledge and Practice, Tools and Equipment, Blueprint Reading and Welding Symbols, Oxy-Fuel Cutting and Welding, and Plasma Cutting. Tuition includes all instructional materials and qualification testing for AWS D1.1 1G. Welding shield and jacket are provided, but you will need to bring appropriate footwear, gloves, safety glasses, and personal hand tools as outlined by the instructor at the beginning of the class.
