Our offerings bring together technology, business, and professional development courses. Training is our core business and our staff, instructors and trainers are eager to help achieve the learning goals of organizations and individuals throughout the area we serve.
Clicking on the "ALL CLASSES" link on the navigation bar on the left will take you to our master course listing where you will find both live classroom courses as well as online classes. In addition to courses listed there, we offer some of our online courses through the following links: Workforce News The New Economy Workforce Credential Grant (WCG) provides funding to cover 2/3 the cost of approved programs. Participation in WCG requires that a student has been a legal resident of Virginia for no less than the last twelve months. A second new program, Financial Assistance for Noncredit Training that leads to Industry Credentials (FANTIC), is also available to low-income Virginia residents who meet certain eligibility requirements. Students receiving FANTIC will have up to 90 percent of their tuition costs covered by the state for select programs. Programs eligible for the WCG Program and FANTIC include project management, emergency medical technician, certified nurse aide, clinical medical assistant, commercial driver’s license (CDL), HVAC, phlebotomy technician and welding.
